Home Bound Take 2

As we head into the 151st day in the ICU, we can proudly say PAYSON IS COMING HOME TOMORROW!!!!! Yup, we are headed home tomorrow morning (11:30 am) by ambulance to a house full of people, therapists and nurses! The morning will be chaotic at the hospital and tomorrow afternoon should be maddening at the house, but what do we care our little boy will finally be under our roof! Although a bit excited we are still reserved in fear that something might cause a delay or a return back to the hospital. (Trach kids tend to get sick ten times faster/more then other kids and can end up in the hospital easily...so this explains any hesitancy we have). Next week we hope to have more excitement flowing through our bodies after the realization has hit our boy is home! So as we embark on this new adventure we ask for prayer to help us all adjust to our new reality and having nurses in our home! Most importantly, we praise the Lord that this is our new reality, (the PICU lost three children last week)! Thank You Jesus that our miracle boy is alive, fighting and relatively healthy!
