An update sorta

Okay, so we saw the neuro surgeon and he really wanted more testing to be done before we decided on the surgery that removed the fat tissue (not a tumor just fat...no biggie). After much back and forth and all the the Dr. speaking to each other it has been decided that they will perform a Flex seed and Rectal Biopsy. This avenue is the least invasive and will answer a lot more questions. The first, Flex seed is where they scope her bottom and take some cell samples. These cells should be able to tell us if she has an allergy...Yes all this might be an allergy. At the same time as the Flex seed they will do the biopsy. This will allow the Dr. to rule out low lying Hirschspung's...Yes, we are back to that word again...Augh! If it shows to be low lying Hirschspung then they will have to remove part of her intestines. If it isn't then they will perform spinal surgery to remove the fat in hopes that the problem is the fat is binding a nerve causing her muscles to be tight causing poppy problems. Then again all it could be is an allergy!

The flex seed and biopsy will be scheduled in the weeks to come. I will keep the blog posted on this.
